Making a major career change can be a daunting prospect, but TravelManagers’ National Partnership Office (NPO) works hard to ensure that the transition process for newly-minted personal travel managers (PTMs) is a smooth one, beginning with a three-day induction course. The most recent of these induction courses was remarkable for its geographical spread, with the eight available places being claimed by PTMs from every state except New South Wales.

Systems training is an essential part of TravelManagers’ new PTM induction process: (L-R) Kristy Breed, Sharon Ward, Lisa Malnar, Elaine Taylor, Melissa Randazzo (NPO), Jan Chappell, Michael Puttner, Saskia Van Dongen and Catherine Widdup
TravelManagers’ Executive General Manager, Michael Gazal, was on hand to welcome the new inductees at the start of the course...

For many of the personal travel managers (PTMs) who attended TravelManagers’ recent annual national conference in Honolulu, the chance to extend their stay and join one of the pre- or post-conference famils was too great to pass up. They say the proof of the pudding is in the tasting, and for seven personal travel managers (PTMs) on a recent TravelManagers’ famil of the Maldives’ Club Med Kani and Finolhu Villas, a four-night taste was proof enough that a barefoot-luxury holiday in this exquisite destination is well worth aspiring to.
The group was hosted by Club Med’s Business Development Manager, Adam Ferraro and accompanied by TravelManagers’ Fares and Ticketing Manager,...

Honolulu locals and tourists alike were probably somewhat bemused by the sight of more than 300 Australian personal travel managers (PTMs) and partner suppliers running around the streets of Waikiki on Saturday afternoon, many of them strangely attired and all of them having an inordinate amount of fun. According to TravelManagers’ Executive General Manager, Michael Gazal, the race was designed as a fun, team-building exercise that would allow...
