Wednesday 28 August 2019 – For home-based travel professionals, one of the most significant benefits of working away from a traditional office environment is having the flexibility and freedom to choose the work hours and location that suit. The accompanying challenge for TravelManagers’ National Partnership Office (NPO) is to ensure that their personal travel managers (PTMs) also benefit from a high standard of ongoing mentoring, support and training, regardless of the remoteness their location.

Wednesday 14 August 2019 – TravelManagers’ annual National Conference ended on Sunday with a gala dinner and awards ceremony in the Crown Perth’s Grand Ballroom: a glamorous, fun-filled evening in which personal travel managers (PTMs) and their partners were joined by representatives from the National Partnership Office (NPO) and suppliers to celebrate an inspiring weekend and honour the achievements of the past year.

Wednesday 21 August 2019 – The conclusion of TravelManagers’ annual National Conference in Perth the weekend before last marked twelve months since the introduction of the company’s Network Assistance Program (NAP): an industry-leading initiative to support its business partners’ health and wellbeing. Saturday 10 August 2019 – TravelManagers’ twelfth annual National Conference got under way on Friday morning, with more than 395 participants attending the three-day Perth event. Although the conference officially opened at 10am, Perth time, conference attendees have been arriving in Perth all week to participate in various pre-conference events including optional tours of Margaret River, Rottnest Island and Perth and the traditional golf tournament, which this year was held at Wembley Golf Course.

Wednesday 07 August 2019 – From shopping on the Miracle Mile to an evening helicopter flight over The Strip, Las Vegas offers plenty of rockstar moments for anyone who comes to play in this exciting, 24-hour city. TravelManagers recently sent eight personal travel managers (PTMs) to experience its highlights over the course of a four-night, five-day whirlwind famil hosted by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, in conjunction with Delta Airlines.

PTMs Tracy Cosgriff, Sue Wright and Carolyn Burgmann, braving The Stratosphere Hotel’s heart-stopping ‘Insanity’ ride, which extends out 20 metres from the edge of the hotel’s tower to suspend its riders more than 260 metres above the ground.

Wednesday 31 July 2019 – The southwest Chinese provinces of Sichuan and Guizhou are not as well known to Western tourists as some other regions of China, but their popularity is steadily increasing, thanks to their rich cultural heritage, impressive scenery and population of pandas. Eleven personal travel managers (PTMs) recently participated in an exclusive TravelManagers famil to the two provinces, which provided them with valuable first-hand insights.
