Wednesday 18 December 2019 – When Lonely Planet recently revealed their list of the top ten countries to visit in 2020, Bhutan was ranked at number one: a feat which came as no great surprise to TravelManagers’ Kate Bevan, who recently spent a week fulfilling a long-held dream to visit the tiny, landlocked kingdom.

PTM Kate Bevan spent two hours at Bhutan’s Tigers Nest Monastery, soaking up the atmosphere and listening to monks chanting and blowing their horns.

Friday 13 December 2019 – TravelManagers has wrapped up 2019 with state meetings in six cities around Australia, each followed by a festive Christmas lunch for attending personal travel managers (PTMs), representatives from National Partnership Office (NPO), and partner suppliers.

With the meeting concluded, attendees were ready to get on with the serious business of Christmas lunch – in Sydney, this was held at Vapiano restaurant.

Wednesday 11 December 2019 – Iceland is a small country of big contrasts: steaming lava fields and vast glaciers, towering waterfalls and deep fjords, icy lakes and warm people. When Collette Tours recently invited 34 Australian travel advisors on a seven-day famil to sample the diversity of this fascinating country, TravelManagers’ Erryn Morris and Alison Parker, were among those who accepted.

Monday 18 November 2019 – Ronald McDonald House Charities has been supporting the families of sick children in Australia since 1981, and now has Houses in eighteen locations across the country, including its longest-established in Sydney’s Westmead, which provides services to around 1360 families per year. TravelManagers recently contributed fifteen eager volunteers to take part in ‘Meals from the Heart’, a program in which participants prepare and serve food to the families staying at Ronald McDonald House.

TravelManagers sent a team of 15 PTMs and NPO team members to prepare and serve dinner for around 200 people staying at Ronald McDonald House in west Sydney. Wednesday 04 December 2019 – From the scenic delights of a cruise through the Inside Passage in North America’s Pacific Northwest to a wilderness tour of Alaska’s Denali National Park, TravelManagers’ Deb Hanley had long dreamed of visiting this unique and beautiful part of the world. Holland America’s ten-night famil provided Hanley, who is a South Australia based personal travel manager (PTM) with a long-awaited opportunity to experience all this and more.

Wednesday 28 November 2019 – The Golden Triangle is the moniker given to the region marked by three of India’s northern cities: Agra, Jaipur and the nation’s capital, Delhi. TravelManagers recently provided eleven personal travel managers (PTMs) with the opportunity to join a seven-day famil of this 720-kilometre circuit, which is renowned for its collection of incredible palaces, forts, mosques and mausoleums, as well as its vibrant history and culture. For many, it was their first visit to India, and an invaluable chance to experience it first-hand.
