Wednesday 04 December 2019 – From the scenic delights of a cruise through the Inside Passage in North America’s Pacific Northwest to a wilderness tour of Alaska’s Denali National Park, TravelManagers’ Deb Hanley had long dreamed of visiting this unique and beautiful part of the world. Holland America’s ten-night famil provided Hanley, who is a South Australia based personal travel manager (PTM) with a long-awaited opportunity to experience all this and more.

Wednesday 28 November 2019 – The Golden Triangle is the moniker given to the region marked by three of India’s northern cities: Agra, Jaipur and the nation’s capital, Delhi. TravelManagers recently provided eleven personal travel managers (PTMs) with the opportunity to join a seven-day famil of this 720-kilometre circuit, which is renowned for its collection of incredible palaces, forts, mosques and mausoleums, as well as its vibrant history and culture. For many, it was their first visit to India, and an invaluable chance to experience it first-hand.

Wednesday 13 November 2019 – 400-million-year-old karst mountains, vast cave systems and spectacular underground rivers: these are the features for which Vietnam’s Phong Nha National Park are renowned. One of central Vietnam’s most unique and spectacular landscapes, the park achieved UNESCO World Heritage status in 2003, and was among the most memorable locations visited by seven of TravelManagers’ personal travel managers (PTMs) on a recent famil hosted by Wide Eyed Tours.

30 October 2019 – Drive through the small, northern Mississippi city of Tupelo and you’ll quickly start to notice a recurring theme. From a huge mural on the wall of a department store to a trail of commemorative guitars, Tupelo won’t let you forget that it’s best known as the birthplace of Elvis Presley. Wednesday 25 September 2019 – The island of Macau, or as it is more formally known, Macao Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, is located around 60 kilometres west of Hong Kong. The two are connected by the Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macao Bridge – 55 kilometres of bridges and tunnels that combine to form the world’s longest sea crossing. Crossing this engineering marvel, which opened early in 2018 and cost an estimated US$18.8 billion to construct, provided eight personal travel managers (PTMs) with an exciting and unique introduction to this tiny territory.

Wednesday 18 September 2019 – When the sun set on TravelManagers’ annual National Conference in Perth recently, most of the attending personal travel managers (PTMs) were packing their bags, ready to head to their home towns and eager to put into practice all that they had learned over the preceding three days. For thirteen PTMs however, this would have to wait: first, a much-anticipated visit to the Kimberley region awaited.

It’s therefore not surprising that when TravelManagers offered a pre-conference famil to experience the many delights of this region, a total of 26 personal travel managers (PTMs) signed up.

Wednesday 07 August 2019 – From shopping on the Miracle Mile to an evening helicopter flight over The Strip, Las Vegas offers plenty of rockstar moments for anyone who comes to play in this exciting, 24-hour city. TravelManagers recently sent eight personal travel managers (PTMs) to experience its highlights over the course of a four-night, five-day whirlwind famil hosted by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, in conjunction with Delta Airlines.

PTMs Tracy Cosgriff, Sue Wright and Carolyn Burgmann, braving The Stratosphere Hotel’s heart-stopping ‘Insanity’ ride, which extends out 20 metres from the edge of the hotel’s tower to suspend its riders more than 260 metres above the ground.
