TravelManagers’ Recognise Personal Travel Managers Loyalty and Experience at Western Australia State Meeting
TravelManagers third bi-annual state meeting was held in Perth last week with five Western Australian personal travel managers (PTM’s) being recognized for their five-year service.

Australia’s leading personal travel manager network TravelManagers, has a total of 181 PTM’s who have achieved the status of being with the company for five years or more.
The fact that over thirty percent of PTM’s and twenty-five percent of the Western Australian network have been with the company for more than five years, does not surprise Michael Gazal, TravelManagers’ Executive General Manager.
“TravelManagers is a company that really cares about its people and recognizing talent and providing opportunities for growth is of absolute importance to us. We provide training, famils, technical support and mentorship, amongst other things. The ability to be your own boss with the freedom and flexibility to work how and when you choose, we know works.”
PTM Lesley Cavill representative for Mosman received her five-year milestone award at the state meeting.
“Having just reached five years in partnership with TravelManagers, I really appreciate the opportunities that the company presents and obtain significant value from the state meetings. It is great to have the national partnership office team visiting us at our place and I enjoy learning about the new developments and value the combined discussion and workshops where we discuss the business in depth. It’s also a fabulous chance to network with my colleagues and further develop our relationships in a warm, welcoming and supportive environment.”
For PTM Bonnie Malam representative for East Perth, it is the networking as well as the business elements of the meeting that she finds so valuable.
“It was a great business meeting. I really got a lot out of the simple business improvement concept that Tanyu Cilek, our Finance & Commercial Manager presented and I will be trying this in my business in 2017. I always come away from these meetings so inspired as they remind me I’m part of an amazing, experienced network that has a culture of mutual support”.
Gazal recognizes the PTM’s love the networking aspect, but the key focus for these state meetings is ensuring everybody is kept up to date with developments in our business.
“We’ve been holding local state meetings with our personal travel managers twice yearly for the last nine years. These meetings are designed to compliment our national annual conference as we believe consistency and providing relevance and adding value is the reason we obtain extremely high participation rates across all states.”
PTM Alison Parker representative for Swan View is looking forward to further increasing the percentage of Western Australian PTM’s who have reached their five-year status.
“I’ve been with TravelManagers for two years now and all I can say is roll on three years’ time when I’ll be receiving my own five year award!”
Following the morning’s business sessions, the PTM’s along with ten national partnership office staff and four partner suppliers enjoyed a Christmas lunch at the Grand Bar & Bistro a popular CBD restaurant.
TravelManagers will continue their personal travel manager state meetings around Australia with Melbourne, Hobart and Brisbane meetings scheduled throughout November and early December.
